A review of lighting in a warehouse provided 87% in energy savings and an ROI of 6 months. Now years on those savings are still providing savings that will have risen to nearly 90% of the original operating costs. The replacement lamps chosen will outlast the original fittings by 4ooo hours, the replacements are now saving $87,000 per re-lamp.

Review of Lighting

This concept made use of the low cost of Victorian Natural Gas to supply compressed air to an International Manufacturer in the event of a power failure. Rather than replace the stand by generator the variable speed internal combustion engine chosen drives a screw compressor to supply this compressed air. As the line air pressure increases the engine slows in response to the lower demand.

Gas Powered Air Compressor (World First)

In response to a request by a council we developed a set of lights that reduced the planned electrical demand by 98.6%. The total reduction in energy load allowed the council to avoid the danger and cost of trenching in an area with essential fibre optic cable. Now 18 months on the cost of continuous lamp replacement has been avoided completely. Solar Powered Lighting

This machine was conceived by AA Sparky. We were responsible for the engineering and construction, we also installed and commissioned it. This was a world first. A major International company was unable to achieve what we constructed. We saved our client around 83%. This machine returned an ROI of about 6 months, improved the cleaning of the rail and released 1 man full time and another part time. Click for more.

Here is an example of thinking outside the cube. A country caravan park wanted to reduce both electrical load and maintenance costs. We designed and built a set of LED lights that illuminate street and car park areas. We anticipate a lamp life approaching 100,000 hours.
